After her studies in Film History at the University of Lausanne Anaïs started to work at the Nantes Science Fiction International convention in France. She is the co-founder of the Neuchâtel International Fantastic Film Festival (Switzerland) and has been serving as artistic director since 2006. Working actively to promote the new generation of Swiss filmmakers, she is part of several expert groups such as Cinéforom, the Swiss Film Academy. In 2017 she got her Diploma of Advanced Studies in Digital Communication and Web Expertise from the University of Geneva.



(*1990 in Iraq) currently works as a director, screenwriter, and video and performance artist in Vienna, Austria. She studied Painting and Animation at the University for Applied Arts Vienna, and since 2011 studies Performing Arts at the University of Fine Arts Vienna. Her short films as well as her feature documentary Paradise! Paradise! have been shown and awarded at numerous international film festivals. In 2016 Kurdwin’s entire works were shown as part of a special short film series at the BAFICI Festival for International Independent Cinema in Buenos Aires and at the Seville European Film Festival.


Has directed the short film Papa Wrestling in 2009, and co-directed, with Pedro Florêncio, the short film Banana Motherfucker. Both films were shown at festivals around the world, including the prestigious Sitges Filmfestival and Frightfest. He also co-created the viral video the strongest motherfucker in the world – check it out on youtube! Mutant Blast is his first feature length film.
