Get In

The teacher Paul lives in a lovely house on the countryside with his wife and child. When they go on holiday for the summer they decide to let the babysitter of their son and her boyfriend stay in their home while they are away. Upon their return they are confronted with a horrible surprise in that they seem to be left in the cold: the locks were changed and the “new inhabitants” insist that this is now their house. In general Paul is a peace loving man, but now he must take extreme measures in order to get his home back. Olivier Abbous’ vicious thriller Get In is the inversion of the classic home invasion trope that gives this well-known genre format entirely new ways of looking at it. Wild!
